About Multi Cyclone Separator

A multi-cyclone separator isan air pollution control device that uses multiple smaller cyclones in parallel to efficiently remove particles from a gas stream through centrifugal force. It is more efficient than a single cyclone because the smaller diameter increases centrifugal force and the parallel arrangement allows for a longer residence time, leading to better separation of finer particles. How it works

Dust-laden air enters:The gas stream with suspended particles enters a common inlet of the multi-cyclone unit.
Gas enters individual cyclones:The gas is then distributed to multiple smaller, parallel cyclone tubes.
Centrifugal force:Within each tube, the gas is forced into a spiral motion, creating a strong centrifugal force that pushes heavier particles against the outer wall.
Particle separation:The particles move along the wall and are collected in a hopper, while the now-cleaner gas exits through a common outlet at the top of the unit.
